Do you know what comes when this life is through? Do you know why you were designed as you? What it is you’re called and meant to do? Did you know the void you’ve tried to fill won’t quit— Because only one love is the perfect fit? It’s all in the story that’s written for you.
Psalm 45:1 says:
My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my psalm to the King. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer.
David wrote these words during one of his many “states”—moments that reveal the complexities of his soul. When we read about David, it’s so easy to understand how he feels because we can relate to him. There’s so many things that just one person can endure in this life. It’s not easy and that’s a guarantee. David’s example is both fascinating and encouraging. How could a man with his lived experience both be an example and a failure, all the while being notorious for having a heart like God's? David is a character worth studying. It shows us as humans, how alike we are to each other, and how there’s hope to keep going no matter what you’ve lived through or are currently facing.
His life's trials warrant his many states - be it his heart posture, different attitudes, or observing how he pleads with God. From running for his life, to the blood and gore that this man of war experienced. David simultaneously was one of the sweetest souls, it was obvious God was the primary focus of his heart. He has this soft, beautiful, tender side, which is the most enchanting enigma because by the world's standards he was a murderer. This mighty man of war, managed to be not only an absolute ladies’ man, but he played the most peaceful instrument, the harp. He was a renowned childhood hero, for defeating a 9 foot giant, and also happened to be an incredibly talented poet? That captivating contrast reminds me of the depth of a soul—a concept science can never fully explain, but Scripture does.
This verse stirred something in me. I’ve never considered myself a writer, but I’ve always had words—too many, at times. Could this be the gift I’ve been searching for? Could my voice, my words, be used for good? This verse moved me. Naturally, as someone who's made a so called talent out of being verbose (=communicating with more words than necessary), you begin to ponder your punishable super power. Might this unsuspecting ability I wield, to talk until I lose my voice, be used for good? My best friend once asked me if perhaps that's the talent or gift I've been trying to locate. Could the accolade of writing the most words per minute in grade 3, allow me to write?
Like David, I’ve known seasons of chaos and pain, yet still found myself singing, forgiving, and loving. Even in my worst state, I can say: “God is good.” That truth inspired me to write—not for recognition, but to glorify Him, the God and author of the greatest love story ever told.
It’s a story of redemption, sacrifice, and choice. Of a love so deep from a man so known. He is, and will always be, the original main character. The most popular person to ever walk the Earth because He has a name everybody’s heard. I’ll refer to him as the Lover as I continue to write, but His name is Jesus. Jesus gave His life for the Beloved. You are the Beloved. And now, the Beloved must choose. Will you believe His love is real? Will you accept it, or reject it?
You see, that is the most incredible part of this love story. That’s why it’s my favourite, and I’m certainly not the only one to proclaim it’s the best book ever written. In fact, the Bible is not only the most purchased book of all time, but concurrently, the Bible is the most stolen book in the history of the world. It’s because of the choice it leaves the reader. A book so controversial, people refuse to ever pick it up and open it. A book that people are imprisoned for owning or killed for reading in various parts of the world. Solely based off the notion, that it’s the reader who gets to decide how the story ends. Here’s the most fascinating part - the reader is who the story is about, the character that the Lover is seeking. You are the Beloved—the one the Lover pursued. The Lover already determined that you are worth dying for. Now, you're the one to decide, so will you choose to believe that He exists?
I write because I’ve tried to fill the void with everything else—and failed. Only one love satisfies. Only one truth fills the emptiness and provides answers to all your questions. I write for the soul searching for that answer. If that's you, and you’re still searching, my commitment and my whole purpose of writing is for you.
I have a deep hope to reach souls because I’ve come to know the most beautiful love story ever told. This story is full of drama—moments of violence, strong characters, broken relationships, steamy love affairs, rich history, rebellion, and restoration. Its climax is the ultimate sacrifice: the Lover pays a price so great that no one else could ever afford it or even be worthy to offer. That payment opened the way for the Lover and the Beloved to be together. Some call this story the Good Book, others its legal title, the Holy Bible. Recently, I’ve been most fond of: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.
It’s a true story of forgiveness and redemption after the most devastating betrayal. The price paid was so high that it covered every mistake—intentional and unintentional. Then comes the cliffhanger: the Beloved must choose. Remember who the beloved is in this story, it’s you, and you have a choice. That’s the beauty of free will. You get to choose to believe the One who loves you is real and accept this love story—or reject it as too good to be true.
Can you imagine someone loving you so much they would give their life just to be with you forever? The Lover knows that when you finally meet face to face, you’ll see that the story was true all along. But He loves you so much, to die for you and then offer that the choice is yours. And that choice determines whether you spend eternity together or apart. Because real love is eternal, and it can’t be forced, it can't be earned—it must be chosen. Every day, love is a decision, a commitment to choose the same person again and again. Love requires action, to show your love is true. His love is the greatest gift one could ever receive.
That’s the challenge of free will. It gives the Beloved the power to decide if they believe the story and if they choose to give their love in return. But they only have one lifetime to make that choice. If the wrong choice is made when time runs out, there’s no going back. And if they don’t choose the Lover, they will spend eternity separated from their one true love.
Every story has an ending, but this one builds to a series of particularly shocking events before the final culmination - where the lovers meet. Then comes the questions: What did the Beloved choose? Has their life shown evidence of believing in a love so powerful and sacrificial that it’s almost beyond comprehension? Does their life reflect that choice through love returned? Or have they settled for something easier to understand, chasing a lesser love that could never compare? As the story closes, the decision remains unknown. It’s one of those endings that leaves the reader to decide for themselves. Do they believe in a love this intense? Could it really be true?
I write as someone who spent years trying to fill the mysterious void every human feels—with everything the world offers—only to discover it was never enough. Nothing satisfied that emptiness that lingered even in moments that looked good on the surface. I write as a reader of the greatest love story, who knew about it. But I took so long to commit, to give the adequate effort required to truly understand and believe it. I write after a lifetime of mistakes and poor choices. I write with gratitude, because grace and mercy gave me another chance to choose differently. And now I write with confidence, because I know the truth: a love so vast and unending truly exists. It's calling anyone who wants it, to read about it, and accept it.
Every human has the same void. Johnny Cash found the answer, and just before his time ran out. Russell Brand and Kat Von D found what fills the void. And now the world is obsessed with watching Leo Skepi figure it out. But here’s the truth: Why are you just watching? Why are you glued to their journeys, offering comments nobody asked you for, while ignoring your own emptiness? A powerful precept the beautiful Bible teaches, the same way you’re judging others, you’ll invite that same judgement upon yourself. So, stop spectating, start searching. Will you keep scrolling—or will you finally face the question your soul has been asking all along? If gaining the world means losing your soul, is it worth it?
When you choose that love back, you begin to experience glimpses of something eternal. A force so strong, that pulls you out of darkness and into light. A light that shines so brightly no darkness can ever extinguish it. A love that never runs out, a love that is already yours. A love worthy of a lifetime pursuit, attempting to understand, replicate, and simultaneously get more of. You don’t have to wait for it or earn it. It's a love deeper than anyone else could ever give you. A Lover who is ready and waiting for you to build a lasting relationship with. As you progress, you'll find signs of His love everywhere, pulling you like a magnet. When you wholeheartedly pursue that love, you will want to share it with everyone. You'll want to show it however you can, and be your own unapologetic version of Mike Servin.
I wasn't trying to rhyme, I'm serious - and maybe that's just me. But look him up, you'll smile I guarantee :-)
How could I keep that to myself? The thought of missing even one chance to share this story with someone who hasn’t heard it—or hasn’t decided—keeps me awake at night. That urgency, combined with my own years of running from the truth, is why I write. I wasted so much time before taking this seriously, only to realize I still have time to choose. So do you.
I want to share everything I’ve learned: there is a way out of emptiness, pain, confusion, and despair. There is only one way to fill the void and live fearless and hopeful—even in chaos. Your soul is searching for a love that existed before you and will last beyond this life. That’s why you’re here: to find your way back to the One who created you. Who loves you. Find out what He says about you, not the world, society, others. You've heard what they had to say.
If I can boldly profess that His love in this life already feels overwhelming, imagine its magnitude when you meet Him. It will be beyond anything you can comprehend.
If you need proof, it exists—thousands of near-death experiences testify to it. I’m not here to convince you with outside evidence. I aim to share what I’ve learned through my own life, because that’s my proof. You will hear about Jesus throughout your life, I'm certain you already have, and every time you do—even if it’s just words on a shirt that say, “Jesus Loves You”—it calls for a response. The response is intimate, do you choose to love Him back?
If you knew who I was, or where I came from, and find yourself reading this, Isn't it worth your time, to be certain - am I sure this love story doesn't exist? Think twice and take your time before deciding to simply resist.
I'll pay whatever cost, to stop just one soul from an eternity in hellfire's abyss. Faithful are the wounds a true friend gives, but the enemy’s embrace ends with a kiss. No love but this have millions died refusing to deny, So what gives you the confidence to dismiss?
I promise you you’re not here by accident, your life has purpose, Jesus being God and not simply a coincidence, does that make you nervous?
Do you know what comes when this life is through? Do you know why you were designed as you? What it is you’re called and meant to do? Did you know the void you’ve tried to fill won’t quit— Because only one love is the perfect fit? It’s all in the story that’s written for you.
